Even though I’m a fashion blogger, one thing I really don’t care that much about are designer clothes. They’ve never been something I could really afford so I learned to develop my own personal style without the burning urge for those labels. Now that doesn’t mean I don’t find some of them beautiful and I definitely wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to own a vintage Chanel or a pair of Gucci Loafers. But I’m not one of those bloggers who feels the need to always be wearing or blogging about the newest, most glam exclusives. I take pride in wearing what I currently have and in how many different styles I can create from one garment. I’m a pro at shopping the high street!
The majority of this outfit is Zara, my favourite high-street shop (if you already haven’t noticed). I wanted something casual, but something dressy at the same time. I chose this off the shoulder top to enhance these high-rise pinstripe trousers. They’re a fun pair of trousers, suitable for work and leisure. They add a bit of visual detail to a basic outfit.
Mixing neutral shades and basic colours. This outfit is casual but still makes a statement. So for the this look, I paired with a pair of black boots for something a bit more dressy, or you can pop on your runners for an effortlessly sleek look.
I finished the look off with my medium leather bag from Michael Kors. I fell in love with this bag when I lay my eyes on it. It was a must have to my collection! (Which I am slowly building!)
