Happy Autumn to everyone - the colder weather is definitely beginning to take a firm grasp of the Dublin climate as we approach mid-September.
September is one of my favourite months. The transition of Summer to Winter clothes. I am obsessed with following the busiest fashion event - New York Fashion Week. Checking Instagram and Snapchat for the luxurious style running the streets of London & NY. So exciting to get inspired by the best type of 'street style.' Every year I am in awe, lusting over outfits and feeling inspired to get into shops and get dressed up.
I am a very late adopter of the ‘off the shoulder trend’ but this doesn’t mean I didn’t like it from the moment it re-appeared on the catwalk. The off the shoulder trend is the perfect way to bare a bit of skin without being too revealing.
Off the shoulder and one-shoulder style are the slightly edgier option with a pair of jeans, perfect flowing fabrics for summer, and cosy knits for the autumn months. No matter what the season, the off-shoulder style is always on trend. I paired this off the shoulder top with a pair of basic white trainers and a pair of grazed cropped jeans.
Finished with a black duster coat for when the sun is out but the weather remains on the colder end of the spectrum, it's the perfect outfit for an Autumn day.
Jade Autumn xx
